About The Collection

The year is 39 BC, and Cleopatra VII is the mother of three royal children by two of the most powerful men in the known world - Julius Caesar and Mark Antony. Yet she rules alone: a queen not through marriage, but by lineage, strategy, and unmatched political acumen.

Just a year earlier, Cleopatra and Antony had spent a winter of alliance and intimacy in Alexandria. She became pregnant, and then he left to return to Rome and marry his enemy’s sister. But Cleopatra does not pine. She governs. After giving birth to their twins, she stabilises Egypt’s economy, expands her navy, secures trade routes, commissions temples, and leads with precision. While the world speculates on her heart, she consolidates her assets and deepens her bond with the people. After all, her beauty is not her power, her mind is.

In 37 BC, Antony returns. He has a war to fight, and he needs her wealth as much as her love. But the queen who receives him has evolved from the woman he left. Cleopatra meets him not as a lover abandoned, but as a goddess prepared. Her empire is stronger. Her court, resplendent. Her children, recognised.

This is no mere reunion; it is an integration of power and desire. In the Donations of Alexandria, Antony grants her children new kingdoms, and in private, he bends to her world. Together, they blur the lines of East and West, love and war, legacy and lineage. Through battles and betrayals, distance and return, they remained together - and in love - for the rest of their lives.

VOL I. ALEXANDRIA

The debut collection is anchored in the chronology of Cleopatra and Mark Antony’s alliance, a decade-long entwinement that reshaped the ancient Mediterranean. Their eventual defeat would clear the path for Octavian’s rise and the birth of the Roman Empire - an era that still defines our world today.

Each of the four shower oils corresponds to a distinct chapter in that legendary arc:

SILK VEIL evokes Cleopatra alone in power, preparing to receive.

DENARII captures Antony’s return after years apart.

FIG MILK is seen through the eyes of a palace handmaiden, watching desire unfold.

SAGE WATER reflects the quiet withdrawal of the Priests of Isis in the empire’s final days.

Together, they form a sensory record and an olfactory archive of one of history’s most consequential alliances. Each oil is a vessel. Each scent, a signal.

So step in. Sink deeper. Let the ritual begin.
