What is the 39BC Loyalty Programme?
Our Loyalty Programme rewards you for shopping with us.
The more you spend, the more you unlock.
You can track everything inside your account dashboard.
Log into your account at https://39-bc.com/ and visit your dashboard.
You’ll see your tier, your spend progress, and any unlocked rewards.
How do the levels work?
There are four tiers:
Basic – Entry level
Bronze – Spend £100 → Get 10% off
Silver – Spend £200 → Get 20% off
Gold – Spend £300 → Get 30% off
Your dashboard shows your progress in real time.
Can loyalty rewards be combined with subscriptions or other offers?
No.
Loyalty discounts cannot be combined with subscription discounts or any other promotional offers.

Do you offer subscriptions?
Yes. You can now subscribe to your chosen 39BC Oil Body Cleanser and receive it automatically at your preferred frequency with 10% off every order.
Subscriptions are managed through your 39BC account.
How does subscription work?
When you select “Subscribe” on a product page, you choose your delivery frequency. Your order will then be processed automatically on that schedule.
You’ll receive a reminder before each renewal, and you can manage, skip, pause or cancel at any time through your account.
Can I change or cancel my subscription?
You can update your delivery date, swap products, skip a shipment, pause, or cancel your subscription up until 1pm (UK time) the day before your next charge date.
After this time, your upcoming order will already be processing and cannot be changed.

Is there a minimum commitment?
No. There is no minimum term. You may cancel at any time before your next billing date.
Will I be notified before I’m charged?
Yes. You’ll receive an email reminder before your subscription renews so you have time to make changes if needed.
Where is 39BC made?
Every 39BC product is made in the UK, in small batches.
Are your products natural?
85% natural ingredients. 15% fragrance and surfactant. 100% chosen with intention.
Why don’t your bottles have a pump?
Most pumps have a tiny metal spring inside — which makes them impossible to recycle unless taken apart (and let’s be honest, most people don’t). So we skipped it. If you really want a pump we may sell them separately in the future for you to reuse over and over.
Are your bottles recyclable?
Yes. Our bottles are fully recyclable — and we encourage you to reuse them too. If you’re done, let it live a new life as a vase or a candle holder, or simply recycle responsibly.
Are your products vegan?
Yes. Vegan-friendly and cruelty-free. Always.
Is there SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate) in your products?
Our Shower Oil uses a mild surfactant system. There’s no SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate) or SLES (Sodium Laureth Sulfate). Instead, we use MIPA-Laureth Sulfate — a gentler alternative that produces a rich lather without stripping the skin. We tested “sulfate-free” naturals, but they simply didn’t cleanse the oil effectively. Your skin deserves both care and clarity.
Can I use 39BC if I have sensitive skin?
All our products are dermatologically tested and formulated for all skin types — but always patch test first in your inner elbow if you’re unsure.
Do your products contain nuts?
Yes. Our formula contains Sweet Almond Oil (Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis).
If you have a nut allergy, please consult your doctor before use.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes we do, you can find our international shipping information here.
How do I return a product?
See our Shipping & Returns page for full details. In short: you can return for free, unused, unopened, within 14 days. Email store@39-bc.com to start a return.
Are you Black-owned?
Proudly. 39BC is founded, owned, and run by a Black woman. Jamaican Indian to be precise.

What does 39BC mean?
It’s the year Cleopatra had three children, by two of the worlds most famous men, and she got to work on making her kingdom prosperous and happy. We also believe it’s the age when you start to come into your power. It's when I came into mine.
Are your products safe for use during pregnancy?
Our ingredients are selected with care, but we recommend consulting with your doctor or midwife if you’re pregnant or breastfeeding — especially when it comes to essential oils and fragrance.
What does 39BC smell like?
We love an intense smell. Scent that lingers. That marks a moment. That clings to the folds of fabric and the memory of skin. Our ethos is simple: to use materials like resins, roots, oils, woods, chosen not just for their aroma, but for how they make you feel and the history behind each material. Our current palette is inspired from the Mediterranean basin, but from its African and Middle Eastern edges. Frankincense, tuberose, patchouli, jasmine, fig and sandalwood. Materials shaped by heat, ritual, trade, and time.
Is 39BC gender neutral?
Completely. 39BC is for skin, not gender. Pleasure belongs to everyone.
Will you be offering refills?
We’re working on it. Our goal is to design packaging that’s either refillable or endlessly reusable. You’ll be the first to know when we do.
