Napping

 

 

 

The body folds into a warm space that asks nothing. Light soft, air still. Breath slows until waking blurs into sleep.

A nap is refusal — of hours, of productivity. It hands you over to gravity, to stillness. When you rise, the world feels slower, shifted, as though you've slipped through time's seam.

A short surrender that restores more than it steals.
