SWEET ALMOND OIL (PRUNUS AMYGDALUS DULCIS)
A lightweight emollient rich in oleic and linoleic fatty acids, helping to soften, condition and smooth the skin. Almonds have been cultivated across the Mediterranean and Western Asia for thousands of years, with almond oil long used in traditional preparations for the skin and body.
JOJOBA SEED OIL (SIMMONDSIA CHINENSIS)
Technically a liquid wax rather than an oil, jojoba is rich in wax esters that help condition the skin and support its natural barrier while leaving it soft and supple. The jojoba plant is native to the deserts of the southwestern United States and northern Mexico, where Indigenous peoples traditionally used its seeds and oil.
AVOCADO OIL (PERSEA AMERICANA)
A rich emollient oil containing oleic acid and other fatty acids that help nourish, soften and condition the skin. Avocados have an extraordinarily long relationship with humans in the Americas, with archaeological evidence from Honduras showing human use stretching back around 11,000 years and a long process of cultivation and selection.
MACADAMIA SEED OIL (MACADAMIA INTEGRIFOLIA)
A silky emollient oil rich in monounsaturated fatty acids, including oleic and palmitoleic acids, helping to soften and condition the skin while providing a smooth, cushioned feel. Macadamia trees are native to the rainforests of eastern Australia, where their nuts have been gathered and eaten by Aboriginal peoples for generations.
VITAMIN E (TOCOPHEROL)
A naturally occurring antioxidant that helps support skin resilience and protect against environmental stress. The name tocopherol comes from the Greek words tokos and pherein, meaning “to bring forth offspring.”
CARROT ROOT EXTRACT (DAUCUS CAROTA SATIVA)
A botanical extract associated with carotenoids, used in skincare to condition the skin and contribute to a healthy-looking, radiant appearance. The cultivated carrot emerged in western-to-central Asia during the Early Middle Ages; the familiar carotenoid-rich orange carrot was developed much later, probably in Western Europe during the Renaissance.

WHAT IS A DRY BODY OIL?
A dry body oil gives you the nourishment and sensuality of a traditional body oil without the heavy, greasy finish.
39BC PERFUMED DRY BODY OIL is exceptionally lightweight and fast-absorbing, leaving skin soft, supple and silky so you can get dressed without waiting around.
IS THIS A GLOW OIL?
No. 39BC PERFUMED DRY BODY OIL is not a shimmer or high-shine glow oil.
Think luminous skin rather than glossy skin: a soft, satin finish without sparkle or a greasy surface.
SHOULD I APPLY BODY OIL TO DAMP OR DRY SKIN?
Both, but the experience is different.
On dry skin, PERFUMED DRY BODY OIL leaves a luminous, soft silk finish.
On freshly washed, damp skin, it transforms into a delicate, weightless emulsion that helps seal moisture into the skin before disappearing into a velvety, dry-touch finish.
WHEN SHOULD I APPLY BODY OIL?
Immediately after your bath or shower is our favourite moment.
Massage it over clean skin while your body is still slightly damp, or towel dry first and apply it to dry skin.
It is the final step of the 39BC Bathing Ritual.
IS IT GREASY OR STICKY?
No. In fact, we made it for people who don't like body oil.
The lightweight formula absorbs rapidly without the heavy, sticky residue traditionally associated with oils.
Skin feels silky rather than greasy.
DO I NEED TO RINSE IT OFF?
No. This is a leave-on body oil, not a cleansing oil.
Massage it into the skin and leave it on.
CAN I GET DRESSED AFTER APPLYING IT?
Yes. The fast-absorbing, dry-touch formula is specifically designed to sink into the skin rather than sit on the surface.
Unlike many traditional body oils that can leave a heavy or greasy layer, 39BC PERFUMED DRY BODY OIL dries down quickly to a soft, silky finish, so you can get dressed without waiting around.
CAN I USE BODY OIL INSTEAD OF BODY LOTION?
Yes. Apply 39BC PERFUMED DRY BODY OIL to damp skin to help seal in moisture, leaving skin soft and supple.
If your skin is particularly dry, you can also layer it with your usual body moisturiser.
CAN I LAYER BODY OIL WITH PERFUME?
Absolutely. 39BC PERFUMED DRY BODY OIL was designed as another way to wear fragrance.
Wear it alone for a softer, more intimate veil of scent, or apply it before your perfume to layer your fragrance across the body.
DOES BODY OIL MAKE PERFUME LAST LONGER?
PERFUMED DRY BODY OIL creates a scented base across the skin and is designed to be worn alone or layered beneath perfume, adding depth and longevity to your fragrance ritual.
HOW STRONG IS THE FRAGRANCE?
